At the Board of Supervisors meeting on September 13, 2017 there will be a presentation by Catalyst Outdoor. They have submitted an application to amend the Township’s Zoning Ordinance to permit billboards on the property at the northwest corner of Pottstown Pike and Township Line Road. The property is currently occupied by a long-vacant building that, many years ago, was a popular farm market. Catalyst is proposing to demolish the building and replace it with a new structure that will accommodate a new farm market. The exterior of the new structure will include two electronic billboards (or “electronic message centers”), one facing northbound traffic, the other facing southbound traffic. The current zoning of the property allows the farm market, but not the billboards. Catalyst has provided the video link below to illustrate their proposal.
