The site developer for the proposed subdivision at 1364 Grove Road has commenced the site work for the approved plans. The contractor will be conducting daily underground rock blasting events starting on November 19, 2025 through November 26, 2025, in order to break up the rock for the installation of necessary utilities. These are controlled blasts that are regulated by the state.
The contractor is required to notify all property owners within 500 feet of the blast areas and offered to also notify adjacent property owners who are greater than 500 feet from the blast area. Public utilities will be notified via PA One Call. The Township fire marshal will also be notified of each scheduled daily blast.
