At their meeting on July 15th, the Planning Commission (PC) will review the plans for Town Centre at Exton (Exton Mall site). A review and possible recommendation of the plan will take place at the July 15th Planning Commission meeting.
Since the original application submission in February and the subsequent March 18th PC meeting, the applicant has made the following notable changes to the site layout.
- The proposed three-story Main Line Health (MLH) building was removed from the corner of Route 30 and replaced with a single-story retail/restaurant space with more open space at the entry of the project.
- Main Line Health moved into the Round 1 space.
- Potential location of ambulance bays within the proposed Main Line Health facility.
- Portion of the riparian stream buffer identified for stream restoration.
- Better integration of the library facility into the development's open space framework.
- Added potential hospitality use with a special events venue (southwest corner adjacent to the Zook House).
- Removal of 73 townhomes and redesigned open space and connectivity through the residential neighborhood.
- Added an Active Adult (+55) Luxury Rental Building to add a diversity of residential offerings.
- All technical comments for Township Consultants have been addressed.
