The Whitford Road roadway widening project is underway! This project will add a new northbound lane on Whitford Road between Lincoln Highway and Waterloo Blvd. The additional lane will help northbound traffic flow, especially for those turning left from Lincoln Highway. Please allow a few extra minutes of travel time through the area as these improvements are implemented.
Half of the work is being completed by a developer as part of the site improvements. The rest of the work is being paid for with Traffic Impact fees collected from developers.
The work is expected to be complete by mid-August.
