In a letter to the PA Public Utility Commission, the Chester County Commissioners asked them to stop operation of Energy Transfer’s Mariner East 1 8" and 12" natural gas liquid pipelines until further investigation can be conducted into the risks presented to these lines by the sinkholes that are occurring on a regular basis in Meadowbrook Manor as part of installation of the new 16" and 20" natural gas liquid pipelines. The West Whiteland Township Board of Supervisors appreciates the Commissioners' concern for the Meadowbrook Manor neighborhood and supports their request.
