Energy Transfer is setting up for installation of the second pipeline between Shoen Road and Devon Drive. Beginning on June 26th, this work includes the installation of steel casing at both ends. The PA PUC confirmed that the casing is a prudent measure to reduce the likelihood of sinkholes and inadvertent returns of drilling mud. However, the noise and vibrations from pounding the casing into place will be felt for a significant distance from the construction sites, and will last for up to a week.
