West Whiteland Township received an application for the construction of a two-sided electronic billboard located adjacent to Route 202 where it crosses over Dunwoody Dr.
Under state law, West Whiteland Township can adopt regulations controlling where billboards may be located, how large they are, etc. but cannot prohibit them. The applicant’s plan is under review by Township consultants and staff to determine whether it complies with Township ordinances controlling billboards.
The public is welcome to ask questions and express your opinions about the plan at the next Planning Commission meeting on Tuesday, January 19th and/or at the Board of Supervisors meeting on Wednesday, January 27th. Both meetings will be held virtually via Zoom due to the pandemic. Below are links to register for each meeting.
