West Whiteland Department of Public Works staff has begun work on the multi-use path from Chester Valley Trail to Exton Train Station. Efforts include curb re-alignment, relocation of drainage structures and roadway reconstruction. The work being performed by Township forces will make way for the upcoming project which will construct the actual path as well as provide traffic signal modifications to serve pedestrians as well as provide lighting. The contract for the work will be awarded this fall with the majority of construction activities taking place in the spring of 2020.
