West Whiteland Township is seeking applicants for the FT position of Codes Enforcement Officer/Asst. Fire Marshal. Qualified applicants will be self-starters responsible managing the rental and fire inspection programs. Accountable for performing a variety of technical duties such as reviewing building plans for completeness; coordinating and performing site inspections of both commercial and residential projects; and making interpretive & procedural decisions in support of the Township’s local code enforcement program. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication and collaboration skills - a must for interaction with residents, contractors, and visitors.
