The PA Department of Environmental Protection issued a permit to Energy Transfer to address exposed pipes in the stream near Shoen Road. Energy Transfer will remove a capped and grouted pipe that is not in operation and bury beneath the stream a pipe next to it that carries petroleum between Montello and Icedale. Work is expected to be completed in September.
