Draft Ordinances

On July 24, the Board of Supervisors will consider adoption of an ordinance establishing the prohibition of outdoor burning within the Township and providing for exceptions and penalties.

Newly Adopted Ordinances

On May 22, 2019, the Board of Supervisors adopted Ordinance 447 to the Zoning and the Subdivision and Land Development ordinances to allow for development of the properties at Ship Rd. and Lincoln Hwy.

On May 8, 2019  the Board of Supervisors adopted Ordinance 446, allowing billboards along certain portions of the Route 30 Bypass and Route 202.

On December 12, 2018, the Board of Supervisors adopted Ordinance 444, to revise definitions and amend the landscaping requirements for subdivisions and land development, making them easier to interpret and apply while still assuring that new developments will be well-designed and landscaped.

On December 12, 2018, the Board of Supervisors adopted Ordinance No. 445 to authorize a tax credit of up to $500 of earned income tax levied by the Township in order to encourage membership and service in the volunteer fire companies and non-profit emergency medical service agencies that serve West Whiteland Township.

On September 12, 2018, the Board of Supervisors adopted Ordinance No. 443 amending Chapter 300 - Vehicles and Traffic - to standardize STOP sign configurations at intersections.
