Pension Advisory Board

Overview


The Pension Advisory Board oversees the investments of both the police and non-uniform pension plans and the trust for other post-employment benefits (OPEB) for police (retiree health and life insurance). The Pension Advisory Board meets quarterly to review fund performance and provides recommendations to the Board of Supervisors regarding the allocations of fund investments.

Members: 5 residents of West Whiteland; 2 employee representatives
Term of Office: 3 years
Appointment Process: Appointed by the Board of Supervisors

Seeking Investment Advisor


The Pension Advisory Board will assist in the selection of an investment advisor for the Township's pension plans. The RFP was issued on January 27, 2020. The due date for proposals is February 21, 2020 at 4:00 p.m.
