Each Tuesday, you may place one (1) large item curbside for collection.
A bulk item is a single item which cannot fit into a Township trash bag or weighs more than 40 lbs., but can be handled by two men.
All items that can fit into an official Township trash bag must be placed inside the bag.
Mattresses and box springs
Push mowers (remove gas and oil)
Sofas and chairs
Washers and dryers
Brush and/or tree trimmings
Building materials such as plasterboard, plywood, shingles, structural wood
Computers and printers
Freon Items - call hauler to make arrangements
For large electronic items such as mini fridges, microwaves, TVs, dehumidifiers, air conditioners and more, please consider scheduling a pick-up with Retrievr. There will be a small doorstep fee, with additional fees for larger items, but all items will be recycled rather than being taken to the landfill. Click here for more information (go to FAQ & Fees for specifics about fees and accepted items).
What to do with items that will not be collected at the curb?
Check Chester County SWA for your options. At the Chester County SWA website, you can use their "Search CCSWA" feature to type in any item for disposal options.
