Mission
To enhance the quality of life in West Whiteland Township by preserving, acquiring and developing open space and by offering passive and active recreation opportunities in an environmentally sensitive manner for the people who live and work in the community.

The Township Parks
The West Whiteland Township Board of Supervisors and Parks and Recreation Commission work to preserve and maintain a community park system.  The system provides a balance of active and passive recreational areas and facilities for the use and enjoyment of individuals, groups and families of all ages, who live or work in the Township.  The Township administers a total of eleven separate recreation/open space facilities.  The total acreage for the Township's developed parks is currently 103 acres; an additional 727 acres is to be developed at the Exton Park site in conjunction with Chester County.  We invite you to visit and enjoy our parks!
