The system provides a balance of active and passive recreational areas and facilities for the use and enjoyment of individuals, groups and families of all ages, who live or work in the Township. The Township administers a total of eleven separate recreation/open space facilities. The total acreage for the Township's developed parks is currently 103 acres; an additional 727 acres is to be developed at the Exton Park site in conjunction with Chester County.
