West Whiteland Township is fortunate to have many enthusiastic, qualified residents who volunteer to serve on the Boards and Commissions of the Township.  At various times, due to the mobile nature of our residents, openings may occur on one or more of those Boards and Commissions.  If you have some time available and are looking for a way to give back to your community, we encourage you to review the description and responsibilities for each of our volunteer groups and see if your interests, talents and expertise match any of the various descriptions.  If participation on any of our Boards or Commissions piques your interest, please consider attending some meetings to get to know first hand what topics are dealt with and to meet the current Board members.

 

West Whiteland Township offers many exciting opportunities to volunteer for public service involving recycling, planning of new and revised land developments, historic preservation, park development, pension oversight and more ... Once you decide you are interested in becoming a part of our volunteer force, please send a letter telling us which group(s) you are interested in, what meetings you have attended and a copy of your resume.  This should all be sent to the attention of the Township Manager or emailed to admin@westwhiteland.org.  You will receive a prompt response and your information will be forwarded to the Board of Supervisors for consideration.
