Sewer, Trash & Recycling Billing

Overview

Residential Sanitary Sewer Fee (2018): $285

Recycling Pick-up Fee (2018): $49

Stay tuned for details:  We are revamping and improving our billing process for sewer, trash and recycling in order to offer more convenient and flexible payment options. We expect our bills to go out in May.

Sanitary Sewer: All property owners that do not have onsite septic are connected to the Township sewer system and are billed for the service.

Recycling:  All homeowners, with the exception of some townhouse developments, participate in the residential trash and recycling program and are billed annually for the recycling service. The purchase of trash bags at local retailers pays for trash collection through the Township pay-as-you-throw program.

Homeowners that are connected to the Township sewer system and whose recycling is collected by the Township’s contracted hauler will receive one bill for both services.

As a reminder, it is the responsibility of all property owners to supply the Township with their correct billing address. Updates to your billing address must be received in writing or by e-mail from the property owner of record to: sewerbilling@westwhiteland.org.

Any sewer and recycling accounts that remain delinquent after 90 days may be subject to Collections at which point additional collections and legal costs may apply.
